• Payment information — we do NOT store full card numbers, UPI credentials, or net banking passwords. Online payments are processed securely by Cashfree Payments.

• To process and confirm your diagnostic test bookings
• To send your booking code, appointment details, and reminders
• To deliver test results via WhatsApp (with your consent)
• To enable home sample collection at the address provided
• To maintain medical records as required by applicable regulations
• To improve our services and respond to your inquiries

4. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1 region). All data remains within Indian borders in compliance with data localization requirements.

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to deliver our services (e.g., sending WhatsApp notifications via MSG91, processing payments via Cashfree). All third-party providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and applicable data protection laws.

5. WhatsApp Communications

We send booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and test report notifications via WhatsApp (through MSG91). WhatsApp messages are sent only when you have provided explicit consent during the booking process.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only (session management and authentication). No tracking or advertising cookies are used on our website. Anonymous analytics are collected via Vercel Analytics — these do not identify individual users.

7. Data Retention

Booking and diagnostic records are retained for 7 years as required by medical record-keeping regulations in India. Account data (for registered users) is retained until you request its deletion.

8. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw consent for WhatsApp communications at any time
• File a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you believe your rights have been violated
